Kabul: Passenger plane crashes in Afghanistan

According to a foreign news agency, a passenger plane from Afghanistan's official airline Ariana Airlines was flying from Herat to Kabul, which crashed in the mountainous area of ​​Dehk district in Ghazni province.

Foreign media says there were more than 80 passengers aboard the plane and the area in which the plane crashed was controlled by the Taliban.

According to Afghan media, the plane crashed around 1pm local time, with no confirmation regarding the passengers and crew aboard.
A spokesman for the governor of Ghazni province confirmed the crash, saying the plane crashed in Sadu Khel area of ​​Dehk district, and no information has been received regarding the casualties so far.
