According to a foreign news agency, Facebook's service was affected in large parts of Europe, including the United States and the United Kingdom, and in certain Asian areas, including Pakistan.

Consumers say they have access to Newsfeed and notification access to Facebook on Twitter.

Thousands of users were experiencing difficulties with the Facebook service being down, but no explanation has yet been revealed by the Facebook administration.
